Sewing a button on

Do you know the tricks to sew on a button? One of them is wrapping the thread around between the button and the clothing. Here’s what I do:

1. Start with folding the length of thread in half and threading the loop through the needle. Draw both ends together (this will make the thread 4x stronger)
2. Wrap the 4 ends around your finger twice and roll it off the tip, spining the thread in circle. Then pull the whole thing with a pinch to make a knot at the end.
3. (Not shown) Place the button and start sewing into the first hole from the bottom. Go throgh the holes and back a few times.
4. Push the needle in between the bottom of the button and the top of the garment.

5. Wrap the thread tightly around the stitches about 3-4 times and push the needle back through to the underside.
6. Finish with a slip stitch, stitch into a few threads and make a loop, go back through the loop and tighten. Repeat.
7. Snip. You’re done! Unless you have to do it a bunch more times.
